This page has the latest announcements about CMIAR, particularly news of additional software functions.
29th March 2006 - Following user evaluation trials, CMIAR Version 2.1 available to download.
Version 2.1 will run on Windows 98 through to Windows XP, depending on machine.
Minimum screen size is now 800 x 600 pixels.
Several additional features, including a Local Map facility and more Help pages.
30th March 2006 - Crediton Civic Archive with Local Map available for download.
30th June 2006 - CMIAR Version 2.2 available to download. More maps and Help pages.
23rd March 2007 - Devon NW Pre 1800 Archive with Local Map available for download.
19th July 2007 - MIAHTM Version 2.2 available for Registered Editors. Several editors have expressed a wish for a facility to convert their .mia files into a format that will allow them to publish their Archive in a printed form, e.g. a book or booklet. This is the main purpose of MIAHTM.
The software will also produce a Summary File which is a small html file giving readers an indication of the Archive content and a list of Family Names.
